This is a great idea!!

I like this idea to have a club blog very much. It will allow us to communicate better with each other so everyone knows what's going on, etc.

How are you all coming on your skirts? Jenna was over yesterday for a while so she worked on her skirt here. She did the zigzag stitches down the edges of the seams and sewed the two side seams. She pressed the seams open and then made the casing for the elastic. We measured her waist and cut the elastic about an inch longer than that measurement. She then threaded the elastic through the casing and found out that it was too narrow in places, so the elastic did not fit very well. We had to take out part of the casing to make it wider.

The name I will use for this blog is jandia, which is the first 3 letters of my first and middle name, so I hope you will remember that when you see jandia it is really me, Dianne Winkel, better known as Sister Winkel. Have a great fast Sunday. See you at church.
